Construction began July 14 on a Children’s Lighthouse in Northlake, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Work is scheduled to finish in the fall of 2026 and the franchise will offer educational programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

The privately funded project is estimated to cost $3.4 million, per the TDLR listing.
