A project has been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to construct the new center at an estimated cost of $1.6 million. Work on the 9,630-square-foot space was scheduled to begin Feb. 28 with a completion date of Oct. 31.
The center offers education services for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Educators employ a hands-on curriculum, which strives to foster independence while developing children intellectually, socially and cognitively. This allows children to engage in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development, according to the company website.
