Construction on a new Kiddie Academy in Flower Mound will begin in August, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

The Kiddie Academy, a daycare center, will sit on a 1.56-acre lot and have an outdoor play area with a 4-foot tall wrought iron fence, according to previous Community Impact reporting. It will serve children as young as six weeks old and as old as 12. There are Kiddie Academy locations across the country but this would be the first in Flower Mound.

In November, the town council unanimously approved plans for the daycare center. The facility will be 25,916 square feet and include space for retail uses. Construction is expected to wrap up in June 2026 and cost about $3 million, according to TDLR.
