According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the dog boarding and grooming center will open off Colorado Boulevard. The scope of the project includes $490,000 to retrofit the existing building for a day care and grooming space.
Construction is expected to begin May 4 and finish July 27.
Dogtopia offers day care services, where pet owners can drop their dogs off for the afternoon for socialization and play. According to the company website, Dogtopia will provide a report card for each day care visit.
The company has live webcams in playrooms, which monitor pets when they are socializing with other dogs.
