The Podcast Trailer is now open, providing on-site services by bringing a podcast studio directly to clients in and around the Denton area.
The details
Houston Rogers, the CEO and co-founder of The Podcast Trailer, started the business in January to provide clients with the tools to create and set up their own podcast.
The trailer comes to individuals or businesses and sets up a recording location in someone’s home or a designated work location, Rogers said. This includes a full audio and video setup, lighting, acoustic treatment, equipment installation and training so clients can record on their own.
“Our goal is to make professional-quality podcasting accessible without the intimidation or technical hurdles,” Rogers said.
The Podcast Trailer does not have a brick-and-mortar location. Instead, Rogers said the team is focused on having the mobile flexibility to serve a wider range of clients and meet them where they already are.
Looking ahead
Rogers said a permanent location is something the group will entertain further down the road, but the short-term focus is expanding The Podcast Trailer’s mobile production capabilities, adding services for live events, depositions and professional recordings outside of traditional podcasting.
“We’re also preparing to launch our custom mobile podcast trailer, which will allow us to bring a fully controlled studio environment directly to clients anywhere in North Texas,” he said.
Rogers also said the mobility of the business allows them to be active locally and meet people face-to-face through events and partnerships.
