Archive Haus opened in mid-January to serve as an elevated event space and studio for creatives in the Denton area.

The gist

The business offers a unique space for photography, film and content rentals. Archive Haus is now fully open, though some offerings are intentionally launching in phases over the coming months, said owner Rachel Hicks.

Currently, the services open include:
  • Hourly studio rentals for photography, content creation and film production
  • Private event bookings, with custom quotes available directly through Archive Haus’ website
  • Creative productions and brand shoots for founders, artists and small businesses
The space has three distinct studio spaces that provide quiet, private environments, according to the business's website. The booking hours are flexible, as well.

Hicks described the space as a “multi-level creative ecosystem” where creators can experience different editorial aesthetics, flexible studio access for those who don’t need a full studio space, work in a supportive environment and feel a strong sense of community within Denton.

Looking ahead

Hicks said Archive Haus will be launching additional services in the future, including intentional celebration experiences that focus on milestone birthdays and bachelorette parties. Instead of a traditional venue experience, the celebrations will be designed around storytelling, nostalgia and making special memories.

Archive Haus will also serve as a space for ticketed, community events starting in the spring, Hicks said.
