Irving's $11.6M Hidden Ridge transit station to open in December

A construction timeline is set for Dallas Area Rapid Transit's newest station in Irving.

The Hidden Ridge Station will be located near Carpenter Ranch Road along the Orange Line, according to the agency.

The station will include 136 parking spaces and six bus bays, and it will mark DART's 65th light rail station upon its completion in December.

The contractor, Archer Western Construction, will build the $11.6 million station between the North Lake College and the Irving Convention Center stations, according to the agency.

Irving is also slated to add another DART station near the former 90-acre Texas Stadium site. It will be centrally located in one of the city's last major master-planned developments, Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer said at the Jan. 16 state-of-the-city address.

"You'll have the ability to ride the train, get off and walk across the bridge to this 90 acres," Stopfer said at the event.
