Significant law enforcement presence is expected in the Cypress area June 3 for a Cy-Fair ISD safety exercise, per a news release from the district.
What's happening?
Alongside CFISD police department and local first responders, CFISD's emergency management department will conduct a full-scale safety exercise at Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center throughout the day June 3.
To test their public safety partners' response to an active campus threat, CFISD will conduct the Response to Emergency Threat Crisis & Tactical Reunification, or REACT-R, exercise.
