Church Story has plans to open a permanent location in Cypress in the fall of 2027, officials said. The church plans to break ground within the next couple of months.

Per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Church Story will be located in an existing former manufactured metal 34,606-square-foot building.
Officials said the permanent building for Church Story will accommodate gatherings for 1,200 people of all ages.

Church Story was founded in 2022, per its Facebook account. While construction takes place, officials said Church Story will continue to gather on Sundays 9 a.m and 10:30 a.m. in Grand Lakes Junior High near Cypress Rosehill Road and The Grand Parkway.
Sunday gatherings include age-specific experiences for infants through 6th grade and for individuals with special needs.
