The Leonards opened their shop with the idea that there was an untapped market of Aggie fans in Houston who would happily take advantage of a local store where they could check out and purchase gear. Having an actual storefront gives A&M fans a more gratifying shopping experience, Nathan said.
"There is so much enthusiasm about our store from people saying they are glad we are here," he said. "People appreciate having a store they can actually walk into and talk with other fans."
Whoop! U goes above and beyond other venues by offering exclusive styles and designs. When the owners' 10-year-old son came up with an idea for a brand of Under Armor called "Aggie Armor," they got the idea approved by A&M and Under Armor licensing and turned it into a reality.
