Construction continues on the Hwy. 290 project with more lane closures this weekend and next week.
Ramp closures as of Jan. 6:
-Hwy. 290 eastbound ramp to Loop 610 North eastbound will have a total closure from 10 p.m. Jan. 6 to 5 a.m. Jan. 9. Detour to Loop 610 West southbound and exit Old Katy Road, make a u-turn and re-enter Loop 610 West northbound to Loop 610 eastbound.
-As of Jan. 9, the Hwy. 290 eastbound ramp to Loop 610 North eastbound will be reduced to one lane through July 1.
-Alternating lanes will be closed on the Loop 610 North eastbound frontage road from 18th Street to east T.C. Jester Jan. 8 from 6 a.m.-noon.
Existing Hwy. 290 closures:
-The eastbound frontage road from 34th Street to 18th Street is reduced to one lane until April 1.
-The Hwy. 290 eastbound entrance ramp from Mangum is closed permanently. Detour to the entrance ramp from 34th Street.
