Oct. 22: Jersey Village Founders’ Day Festival
Jersey Village celebrates 60 years as a city, kicking off with a parade from the Fire Station at Lakeview to Clark Henry Park. From there, bounce houses, laser tag, carnival games, a car show, video game trailer, live music, food, an escape room, train rides, photo booths and more will be on site at the park. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free. Oct. 22: Guitars N' Cars Auto Show
The sixth annual car show benefits the Houston U.S. VETS. Featuring a KidZone, trunk-or-treating, live music and food all afternoon, the car show wraps up with a 5 p.m. award ceremony. A guitar auction that evening will feature drinks, food, a cigar lounge and dancing.
