Senate Avenue Pharmacy owner and pharmacist Dr. Laura Smith Williams said the local pharmacy opened in early November.

What you need to know

The pharmacy offers standard retail medications including maintenance medications and over-the-counter products and will be offering immunizations starting next year, Williams said.

The pharmacy also offers free overnight delivery throughout the Houston area and free same-day delivery services in Jersey Village. Pharmacy hours are limited to weekdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

About the owner

With a background in compounding and alternative medicine, Jersey Village resident Williams said she graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2012 and has been practicing in independent pharmacy since.

“I am excited to finally own my own pharmacy and serve the community in which I live," Williams said. "At Senate Avenue Pharmacy, the goal is to treat our patients like family.”
