Three Cy-Fair ISD board candidates have withdrawn from the race just one week after the candidate filing deadline. As of Aug. 24, district officials confirmed Cameron Dickey, Victor Hebert and Caroline Kane have stepped down from the election. Fourteen candidates continue their pursuit for a seat on the board of trustees. See the original list of 17 candidates below.
The last day to register to vote in this election is Oct. 4. The election will be held Nov. 2, after an early voting period from Oct. 18-29.

A total of 17 candidates are competing for a seat on one of three Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees positions this fall, including the three incumbents who have each served on the board for at least 16 years.
The election will be held Nov. 2, after an early voting period from Oct. 18-29. The last day to register to vote in this election is Oct. 4.
A candidate forum will be held at the Berry Center theater, 8877 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, from 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 12.
