After just over two years in business, the Barker Cypress Road location of Voodoo Doughnut closed this October.
The shop opened in May 2022 at the location of a former Slim Chickens.

Voodoo Doughnut has about 20 locations throughout the U.S., including one in Katy and two in Houston.
The Portland-based shop offers raised yeast doughnuts, cake doughnuts and specialty doughnuts. Popular menu items include the Strawberry Go-Tart, Bacon Maple Bar, Memphis Mafia and Apple Fritter.
