Safety and customer service are the primary focuses at the Shoot Point Blank gun range and store, according to Rick Hall, who manages the newest location of the business in Cy-Fair.
The new Wortham Center Drive location is the Ohio-based company’s 17th and second in Texas, although more Houston-area stores are in the works, Hall said.
The company launched in 2012 after founder Tom Willingham struggled to find a positive experience at gun retailers, Hall said.
“His story is that he went into a gun range, got very poor customer service and decided he could do better,” he said.
