The Jersey Village City Council will meet Dec. 15 to discuss approving design, bidding and construction management services for several water treatment plants in the city, as well as the 2026 wastewater collection system rehabilitation.
A closer look
According to city agenda documents, council members will discuss and potentially approve contracts with civil engineering firm HR Green to oversee the design, bidding and construction for the Seattle Street, Village Drive and West Road Water Treatment Plant improvement projects. These improvements were identified as part of the city's 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and include replacing motor components and rehabilitating water storage tanks.
City officials will also consider moving forward with Quiddity Engineering on the 2026 wastewater collection system rehabilitation, which was also identified in the city's CIP. The wastewater rehabilitation project includes several items, including:
