Cy-Fair ISD Nutrition Services’ online application for students' free and reduced-priced breakfast and lunch eligibility for the 2026-27 school year opened July 13 and will stay open for the school year's entirety, staff confirmed.
What you need to know
Students who meet free and reduced-priced eligibility requirements will receive free breakfast and lunch through a subsidy passed in Senate Bill 1, per the nutrition services website. Program eligibility is based on income and household size, and the application can be found on School Cafe.
Students attending a Community Eligibility Provision, or CEP, campus will receive free meals without any application process, but parents are asked to fill out an Income Survey for student and school benefits, per the nutrition services website. A list of CFISD CEP campuses can be found here.
