A number of new coffee, tea and specialty beverage shops have opened or announced plans to open across the Cypress-Fairbanks area. Here is the latest information on some of the newer shops in the area.
Eden Coffee & Tea serves specialty drinks made with homemade syrups and small bites made in-house. Per previous Community Impact reporting, the coffee shop also offers espresso-based drinks including flavored lattes, cold brews, teas, refreshers and matcha.
Feng Cha was started in Richardson in 2017 by two college friends, and now, according to their website, they have more than 80 locations. Alongside drinks, Feng Cha serves milk foam cakes. Per the website, some of Feng Cha's best-selling drinks include Creme Brulee Dirty Boba, Mango Fantasy, Matcha Latte and Strawberry Overload.

La La Land offers espresso drinks, matcha, and toast, and according to its online menu, favorite drinks include the La La Latte, Banana Cloud Latte, Strawberry Cloud Latte and Matcha Squared Latte. The Cypress La La Land will be the fourth stand-alone location in the Houston area, per the website, and will include a drive-thru option.
Per a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the new Starbucks is anticipated to be constructed at the intersection of West Road and Mason Road in Cypress.
Founded in Seattle in 1971, Starbucks currently has 29,000 stores worldwide, according to the company’s website. The international coffee chain offers a menu of brewed coffee, espresso drinks, blended frozen Frappuccinos, teas, pastries and more.
Tinto's Cafe offers specialty coffee, sourdough sandwiches and pastries, and house-made desserts. Coffees offered include cappuccinos, flat whites and espresso, among other specialty coffees such as its Tinto Ritual, which features smoked cold brew and orange cold foam.
