Power Electronics broke ground on its 53-acre campus, which, once complete, is expected to bring over 400 new jobs to the Houston area, according to a Sept. 24 news release.

Power Electronics’ executive leadership, customers, industry partners and community members attended a Sept. 24 groundbreaking ceremony held at the future campus site, according to the release.
Specializing in solutions for solar energy, storage, data centers, e-mobility and drives, Power Electronics is a global company and has continued to invest in its presence in the United States for over a decade by building local teams and operations.
The campus, consisting of a 150,000-square-foot building and a 700,000-square-foot building, is intended to bring different key functions of the company together, including:
Once fully operational, the Houston Campus is expected to be Power Electronics' most automated inverter production site so far, according to the release and deliver up to 40 GW of annual production capacity.
