Forty-four campuses in Cy-Fair ISD will be open for voluntary student transfers in the 2023-24 school year following board approval March 6.
This list is based on enrollment projections and building capacities, and was recommended by the district’s boundaries, projections and planning department, Director of General Administration Kristi Giron said.
“Our goal is to provide as many options as possible within the constraints of the capacities and to accommodate student and parent preference,” Giron said.
In addition to these, 86 campuses will be closed to new student transfers but open to children of district employees. All campuses are included in this category except Bridgeland High School, Cypress Ranch High School, Cypress Woods High School and Wells Elementary School, according to Giron. However, exceptions may be made at these four campuses for children of district employees assigned to facilities in those specific attendance zones.
