Community Impact Newspaper, a nationally award-winning newspaper group reaching more than 1.7 million Texans in 34 communities, today announced a new partnership with the
Texas Tribune, a nonprofit, nonpartisan media organization that informs Texans about public policy, politics, government and statewide issues.
The partnership, which will launch with
Community Impact Newspaper (CI)’s 22 March editions, is centered on the organizations’ collective values of quality and unbiased journalism, said David Arkin, chief content officer at
Community Impact Newspaper.
In an effort to reach and engage even more readers, CI will feature the Tribune’s content on the paper’s “
At the Capitol” online site, as well as on
communityimpact.com. Additionally, the two organizations will partner on a co-produced community event.
“We are thrilled to join forces with a respected news organization such as the Texas Tribune,” Arkin said. “As the demand for media innovation in newsrooms continues to grow, our partnership with the Tribune is a fantastic example of collaboration based on our shared values.”
“We’re so pleased to have the opportunity to bring our politics and policy coverage to Community Impact’s enormous readership, and to collaborate on an in-person event that brings our interested and engaged audiences together,” said Emily Ramshaw, editor in chief of the Texas Tribune.
