The Coppell Arts Center is approaching its final leg of construction ahead of its May 14-17 grand opening event.
The opening will include a performance from Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth on May 15. Tickets for that red-carpet grand opening event start at $225 and will go on sale March 18.
Additionally, country music singer and songwriter Rodney Atkins will put on a performance May 16. Those tickets start at $49.
When complete, the $18 million arts center will include a 440-seat main hall, a 196-seat black box theater, a VIP lounge, an outdoor stage, a sculpture garden and more. It will also centrally house the city’s five main arts organizations: Theatre Coppell, Coppell Community Chorale, Coppell Community Orchestra, Ballet Ensemble of Texas and Coppell Creatives.
