The Conroe City Council welcomed two new members to its ranks over the summer—Place 5 Council Member Jody Czajkoski on May 5 and Place 4 Council Member Raymond McDonald in the June 30 runoff. Now that both new council members have sat comfortably in their respective council seats for nearly five months, Community Impact Newspaper checked back in with them about their priorities and expectations for the future of the city of Conroe. Czajkoski initially ran because said he sees potential in Conroe’s recent string of annexations and its extraterritorial jurisdiction, which is the size of the city of Austin. President of both MHW Commercial Real Estate and nonprofit Faith Fest as well as a father of three, he puts together real estate investments and develops subdivisions and music festivals to promote unity within his faith.
