At the original time of publication, Reid had not yet responded to a request for comment.  Montgomery City Council members reviewed the preliminary budget for the Montgomery Economic Development Corporation on Tuesday evening that revealed its plan to hire a full-time director for the corporation. Council also took action on several other numerous agenda items, including selecting an engineer for the Plez Morgan Drive project and addressing rezoning requests.
