The Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program celebrated its 39th graduating class of resident physicians during a ceremony at Lone Star Family Health Center on June 23. The graduation ceremony also served as a welcome for 12 new incoming resident physicians.

According to a news release July 26, since the programs inception in 1979, over 280 residents have graduated from the program.
- CFMR is a program sponsored by the Conroe Medical Education Foundation.
- It is operated jointly by the Lone Star Family Health Center and HCA Houston Conroe.
- During the program, resident physicians receive hands-on training in personal and group settings.
- Residents are taught how to deliver cost-effective treatment in the medical field.
