2024 Empower Senior Citizens Resource FairThe Empower Senior Citizens Resource Fair features a carnival-themed expo with resources for senior citizens, veterans, their families and caregivers. The event will feature entertainment, health screenings, appetizers and giveaways.

Southern Star Brewing 5K Beer Run The Southern Star Brewing Company's Race will start and end at the brewery, taking runners through a shady course through nearby neighborhoods. All participants will receive a souvenir pint glass, a race T-shirt and enjoy four 8-ounce pours of their choice of beer.
