As Fourth of July weekend rolls into Independence Day on Tuesday, festivities and a fundraiser are on the horizon for Conroe and Montgomery residents. B52 Red, White & Brew Weekend Extravaganza June 30-July 4 Conroe’s own B-52 Brewing is typically only open Friday thru Sunday, but in celebration of Independence Day the beer garden is open July 3-4, noon to 8 p.m. Special tappings of brews roll out during the five-day celebration, including dry-hop versions of classic brews, growlers of Hoppy Pale Lager, Blueberry Pie Berliner and more. Funds raised benefit Bridgewood Farms, an organization that offers care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Three different courses are available to choose from, including a 20-, 31- and 62-mile bike race through northwest Montgomery County. 7:30 a.m. $30 (individuals), $50 (family).
