P. Terry's to open downtown Austin location

Patrick Terry confirmed Aug. 5 he will open the 10th P. Terry's Burger Stand location at 515 Congress Ave. by the end of 2014.
"The exciting part for us is to offer our quality and value to downtown," Terry said. "Where else can you get a quality hamburger for $2.20?"
Finding the right spot was a four-year effort, said Terry, who expressed excitement about finding space at an iconic Austin address.
The 1,200-square-foot location will be P. Terry's first without a drive-thru or iconic structure.
"The challenge will be to have the P. Terry's experience once you walk inside," he said.
The inside will have limited seating and a second grill dedicated to large business orders. The new location will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night orders. Terry started the burger chain nine years ago.
