The second installment of the Engage Breakfast series seeks to build on the success of the first discussion of the 2012–13 season by tackling another big issue: the growing veteran population.
Julie Smith, leadership programs manager with Leadership Austin, said the organization is happy with the series so far and is excited to continue.
"We were thrilled," Smith said. "We thought it was a fantastic kickoff to the season and are very excited about our partnerships with KXAN, the Long Center for the Performing Arts, Capital One, and all of the sponsors. It was perfect kickoff to the season, and we were excited to be a part of a great conversation with a great panel."
The first Engage Breakfast on Oct. 10 brought together eight panelists to discuss the effect of the local, state and federal elections.
