Two new hotels are in development in the Rainey Street district, according to city site plans. Cambria Hotel, a 15-story, 212-room property from developer Choice Hotels, is planned for 68-72 East Ave., Austin. Lady Bird Hotel, a 22-unit property with micro-sized rooms from hotel brand Kimber Modern, is planned for 62 East Ave., Austin.
