Magnolia Cafe celebrated its 40th anniversary in January. The local, family-owned diner opened as the Omelettry West on Lake Austin Boulevard in 1979, changed its name to Magnolia Cafe in 1987 and expanded to its second location in South Austin at 1920 S.
