At its Party for Good gala in November, Greenlights for Nonprofit Success will honor nonprofit advocate Libby Malone with its Community Leader of the Year award.
Greenlights is even naming the recognition after her—the Libby Malone Community Leader of the Year award—that it will give out in future years. Malone is a founding Greenlights board member who has also worked with nonprofits such as the St. David's Foundation, A Legacy of Giving, Young Women's Alliance and Junior League of Austin.
Matt Kouri, president and executive director of Greenlights, called Malone "a true nonprofit champion" who has spent much of her life as a nonprofit ambassador, advocate, fundraiser and leader.
"Libby's dedication to our community is truly remarkable, and this award is a way for Greenlights and the entire nonprofit community to thank her on behalf of the thousands of lives she has touched," he said.
