After a year of primary elections, primary runoffs, a special election and a general election with historically high turnout, Austin voters will be making their final decisions of 2020 on Dec. 15 when they elect two Austin City Council members and two trustees on Austin ISD's board in runoff elections.
Council Members Jimmy Flannigan and Alison Alter are looking to retain their seats on the dais in District 6 and District 10, respectively, against challengers Mackenzie Kelly and Jennifer Virden.
No incumbent AISD board members ran for re-election in 2020. Noelita Lugo faces Leticia Moreno Caballero for the Place 8 seat, which is an at-large position elected by voters throughout the entire district. In District 5, which covers portions of Central and Southwest Austin, Lynn Boswell faces Jennifer Littlefield.
