From Atlanta to Austin, Disney Entertainment and Bucket Listers are opening a pop-up cafe in downtown as part of a national tour, all centered around “The Golden Girls.”
The pop-up restaurant will serve up breakfast, lunch, desserts and drinks with nods to the show’s characters and storylines. It launches on Aug. 20.

Visitors will need tickets to access “The Golden Girls” Kitchen, which will include a reserved seat, mocktail or cocktail, an entree and slice of cheesecake. Welcome drinks include the Miami mojito and the Shady Pines spritz mocktail with mango, pineapple, lime, guava, passion fruit and soda.
The pop-up is set to house scenes and photo opportunities, including the kitchen and Blache’s Boudoir. “The Golden Girls” Kitchen will also host drag brunches on Saturdays and Sundays with appearances from local Austin queens.
What they offer
Guests can dine for breakfast and lunch, choosing from menu items like the “picture it” pancakes prepared with warm bourbon maple syrup, berries and whipped butter. Other breakfast items include the Rusty Anchor omelet sandwich cooked with green pepper, onion, garlic, swiss cheese and lettuce on white bread.
For lunch, guests can find the Rose Marie combo, which is a caesar salad and tomato bisque, as well as the Lani “Miami style” cuban sandwich with pulled pork, ham, swiss cheese, dijon mustard relish on cuban bread.
Craving dessert?
The kitchen will be offering cheesecake by the slice with flavors like guava and oreo, as well as a clown sundae loaded with a waffle cone hat, M&M eyes, sprinkles and whipped cream.

There is currently no ending date for the pop-up, according to a representative with “The Golden Girls” Kitchen. In the past, the pop-up has stayed in each city for several months.
