Uncle Nicky's, a Northern Italian cafe serving sandwiches, pasta specials, salads and drinks, will open in January at 4222 Duval St., Austin, in the space previously occupied by Dolce Vita. The restaurant is a collaboration among Nicholas Yanes, owner and executive chef of Juniper; brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt of Via 313 and Nickel City; and Travis Tober, a Nickel City partner. www.unclenickys.com
