4. Route 171

Contingent upon the creation of  managed lanes on MoPac, the route would now originate in the south at the Austin Community College Pinnacle campus and travel on Hwy. 290, serving proposed Park & Rides at the intersection of Hwy. 71 and Hwy. 290 and the existing Park & Ride at William Cannon Drive and Hwy. 290. The route would operate as an express on MoPac to downtown Austin via Cesar Chavez Street and on San Jacinto Boulevard and Trinity Street where it will terminate at The University of Texas at Austin.

Service type: express Weekday and weekend service: 6-9 a.m., 4-7 p.m.

5. Route 987

Route 987 would provide five additional trips for a total of 10 southbound morning and 10 northbound evening trips. The route would continue to operate out of the Leander and Lakeline stations and would have the option of running in the northern part of the MoPac lanes during peak congestion. The route would continue to stop at the Leander and Lakeline stations before exiting MoPac to serve 35th and 38th streets, UT, the Capitol, downtown and Riverside.

Service type: express Weekday service: 5:20-10:30 a.m., 3-8:30 p.m.

6. Route 450

A new downtown shuttle would provide service between downtown Austin and the South Congress district. The route would travel along Congress Avenue between 11th Street in the north and Live Oak Street in the south.

Service type: MetroRapid Weekday service: 7 a.m.-midnight (2 a.m. on Friday nights) Weekend service: 7-2 a.m. (Sat.), 7 a.m.-midnight (Sun.)
