City: Cameron Road improvement will reduce the amount of time you wait in traffic

[caption id="attachment_185677" align="alignright" width="220"] The intersection at Cameron Road and Broadmoor Drive received roadway improvements through the Austin Transportation Department.[/caption] The Austin Transportation Department announced today a right-turn-only lane on Cameron Road has been converted into a through-lane. The project allows the two existing northbound through-lanes starting at the Cameron and 53rd Street intersection to extend through Broadmoor Drive. According to the city, the improvements will help ease the flow of traffic from I-35 onto Cameron Road and reduce delays. The intersection is near the Capital Plaza Shopping Center on North I-35.
