Two health and wellness-focused businesses are expected to open on South Lamar at one central location, said Delfin Ward, co-founder of Generator Athlete Lab and CEO of WellSuite.
What to expect
Husband and wife pair, Ward and Jessica Tranchina are opening up a sister business to Generator Athlete Lab called Generator. The recovery business’ first location is located in the Seaholm Power Plant in Austin.
The new location will focus on recovery programs, including cold and hot plunge, a sauna and clinical-based massage therapy.

Ward is also launching a new venture alongside Generator called WellSuite.
WellSuite will provide on-demand treatment rooms for health and wellness practitioners to see patients. Practitioners and professionals can utilize the treatment rooms with no long term lease commitments and no overhead, Ward said.
How it started
The idea for WellSuite was derived from Ward and Tranchina’s experiences as occupational and physical therapists. The pair felt like they lacked flexibility due to real estate options.
“It was started because my wife and I, when we were independent health and wellness practitioners, real estate was a big source of frustration and it affected our ability to grow in scale,” Ward said.
The plan
Ward expects to welcome massage therapists, physical therapists, acupuncturists and chiropractors.
