There’s something for everyone this weekend in the Austin area, including an outdoor movie, music festival, Juneteenth celebration and kitten yoga. Here are seven events for locals to attend from June 19-21.

Central Texas Juneteenth
Community members can gather at Rosewood Park for a Juneteenth parade and celebration. The annual park celebration will include food, retail and information vendors, kids activities and live music.

Juneteenth Block Party
In partnership with the Leander Public Arts and Culture Commission and the city of Cedar Park, the city of Leander will commemorate Juneteenth with a block party at Robin Bledsoe Park. This free, family-friendly event is packed with musical performances, food vendors and a fun zone for all ages.
Juneteenth Celebration: Rock the Block
The city of Pflugerville will celebrate Juneteenth with a Rock the Block event in the downtown area. Texas R&B band Honey Made will take the stage. After forming in 2018, the band has since garnered multiple official SXSW Showcasing Artist slots.
2026 Dos Rios 5K Splash & Dash
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience at the Dos Rios 5K Splash & Dash. Participants can choose between a standard 5K route or a run-and-oat experience through the river chute.
Yoga on the Plaza
Round Rock Yoga and the city of Round Rock will host a beginner-friendly yoga class at Prete Plaza in the downtown area. Visitors should bring a yoga mat or large towel, sunscreen and a water bottle.
17th Annual Blue Flame Cruisers Car and Motorcycle Show
The car and motorcycle show will feature classic vehicles, custom cars, trucks and motorcycles.
ScareWaves Movie Night
Radio Coffee & Beer will host a scary movie night featuring “The Guest.” Radio serves coffee, tea, cocktails, mocktails and bites from various food trailers.
