Franklin Barbecue at 900 E. 11th Street, Austin, will reopen on Nov. 21, according to co-owner Stacy Franklin. A fire on Aug. 26 temporarily closed down the popular downtown barbecue spot. The Austin Fire Department said the cause of the fire was accidental and caused by a windblown ember from a fire pit igniting combustible surroundings. The famed spot usually attracts lines of customers waiting to order pulled pork, brisket and other smoked meats. 512-653-1187. www.franklinbbq.com
