Williamson County Art Guild “Big Picture Show” reception
This artist reception features large-scale works by member artists as part of the guild’s 50th anniversary celebration. The gallery, which opened in October 2023, showcases work from 26 resident member artists, with rotating monthly exhibitions in the front galleries.
20th annual Pioneer Day
Community members can visit Williamson County Old Settler’s Association for Pioneer Day, filled with crafts, live music, history, games and chuck wagons.

A self-guided tour of historic homes and culturally significant sites in San Marcos, with lunch, drinks, live music, local artists and more.
BookSpring Fest
A literacy nonprofit is hosting its fourth annual free reading festival featuring community leaders, musical performances and family friendly activities.
3rd Annual Derby Day Party
The annual event features a Derby Hat Competition, a best-dressed couples contest, themed cocktails, a bloody mary bar, games and more. The Weldon Henson Band will play from 2-5 p.m., and the bar will be open from noon-8 p.m. Event proceeds will benefit Folds of Honor Central Texas.
Saengerfest
Showcasing craft beer and wines from the region, this festival will have live music, shopping specials and activities across downtown.
Bricks & Minifigs South Austin Star Wars Day Event
Lego retailer Bricks & Minifigs will host a Star Wars day celebration that includes raffle games and prizes, costume characters, ice cream and Star Wars Legos. Cosplay is encouraged at the event.
