Austin Flower Co. is celebrating 30 years of bringing specialty cut flowers, houseplants and greenery to Austin. The business commemorated the anniversary with a celebration on Aug. 26.
The backstory
The flower shop, led by owner Thomas Gay, was founded in 1996 by seasoned floral industry professionals. The founders hoped to offer the freshest florals directly to customers at a reasonable price.

The celebration
Austin Flower Co. hosted a 30th anniversary celebration featuring free burgers and fries from P. Terry’s and free ice cream from Amy’s. The party also included flower giveaways and doubled as a birthday celebration for Gay.
