The Colorado River Alliance’s annual gala invites hundreds of community members and corporate and legislative leaders to celebrate the Alliance’s accomplishments over the past year and one of Austin’s most valuable natural resources: the Texas Colorado River.  This year, the alliance is honoring Peggy Winkler her for her efforts in protecting Texas waterways and energizing communities in those efforts. The annual charity bicycle ride benefits the Rosedale Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting the children of Rosedale School, Austin ISD’s school for children with multiple disabilities.
