The project is meant to match the six-lane East Whitestone Boulevard pass-through project that runs from Market to Sam Bass Road, which was completed by the city of Cedar Park, Williamson County and the state transportation agency in 2016. Construction began in late February and is expected to be complete in late 2018 or early 2019, according to Diann Hodges, a public information officer with TxDOT.
