Leander ISD earns overall B in TEA accountability ratings

Student achievement measures State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR, score expectations; graduation rates; and student preparedness for success after high school graduation. School progress measures how students perform overtime as well as the district’s performance in comparison to other districts. The closing the gaps section shows how well a district is ensuring the success of all its student groups.

LISD received a B rating, scoring 89 out of 100 points, for both student achievement and school progress. The district also received a B rating, scoring 88 out of 100 points, for the closing the gaps section.

The district similarly received a B rating, scoring 88 out of 100 points, from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. FIRST holds Texas public schools accountable for their financial management practices and improvement, according to the TEA.
