The Texas Education Agency evaluated Leander ISD with a B overall rating, scoring 89 out of 100 points, in the 2021-22 accountability ratings released Aug. 15.
LISD also received a B accountability rating for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years, also scoring an 89 in both school years.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the TEA did not release district and campus accountability ratings for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.
The above graphic includes individual accountability ratings for all LISD schools from the TEA report. The TEA eliminated rankings below the C level for the 2021-22 school year and instead deemed those campuses as “not rated,” according to the organization.The accountability ratings are made up of an overall performance summary for districts throughout the state, according to the TEA. Sections under the overall performance summary include student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps.
