Round Rock ISD to hold free FAFSA information, assistance night Dec. 3

Round Rock ISD will hold an information and assistance night for students completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid and Texas Application for State Financial Assistance on Dec. 3.

What you need to know

The district's FAFSA and TASFA assistance event offers free help filling out the application for families of students entering college in the 2025-2026 school year. It will be held 6-8 p.m. Dec. 3 at the district's administration building, 1311 Round Rock Ave., Round Rock.

About the program

The FAFSA allows students to apply for federally-funded loans, grants, scholarships and work-study programs to fund higher education or technical school expenses.

The TASFA is for Texas residents who do not qualify to apply for the FAFSA. The application determines a student's eligibility to receive state financial aid to attend higher education institutions in Texas.
