Celebrate the start of 2026 with 11 New Year’s Eve events in the Austin area

Adults ages 21 and older can gather for a New Year’s Eve celebration with holiday lights and decor; a midnight fireworks display; themed drinks and food for purchase; singing trees; a costume contest; games; new year’s resolutions; and photo opportunities with Santa and the Grinch. VIP tickets also include party hats and free champagne at midnight.

Residents can gather at Auditorium Shores for an evening of music, fireworks, food and drinks to close out 2025. Music fans can expect performances from The Point, Tameca Jones, Chaparelle, and The Head and The Heart. Twenty minutes before midnight, attendees can watch Austin’s New Year Drone Show. CNN will also be broadcasting live from the event as part of their national coverage.

ICON Entertainmentz organized a Desi New Year celebration at The Crossover, hosted by RJ Hemant and DJ SUMAN and featuring headliner Faria Abdullah. The event will also feature a dedicated kids' zone with games; face painting and balloon twisting; a food vendor serving authentic Desi and fusion cuisine; and a midnight balloon drop and cake-cutting ceremony.

The Leander Chamber of Commerce will host a semi-formal New Year’s Eve celebration at the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center. The Midnight in Manhattan-themed event will include a performance by LC Rocks, food and a champagne toast at 11 p.m.

Community members can ring in the new year at Shooters in Cedar Park with all things '80s. Singers can belt out their best karaoke picks from the '80s and everyone is welcome to don their best '80s clothes, makeup and accessories. There will be a costume contest with cash prizes for first, second and third place. To celebrate 2026, Shooters will also have a champagne toast at midnight.
