The city of College Station has changed recycling days for some residents, according to a city blog post.
The gist
Between 5,000 and 6,000 homes will be impacted because of efficiency and more balanced collection routes.
Caroline Ask, the solid waste division manager for the city, said the need for efficiency improvements is due to a growing population and infrastructure.
What to expect
Residents who have their recycle bins collected on Thursday will now be moved to Friday and vice versa.
The city said residents affected will receive a written notice in the mail in advance of the changes, along with checking the CS Curbside app if residents choose to be enrolled.
