"The Mandalorian and Grogu" at The Queen Theatre
Historic Downtown Bryan theatre The Queen is hosting a showing of The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026), a Star Wars franchise film following Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu as they work to protect the galaxy. Multiple showings of the movie will be available throughout the weekend.
Trivia Night on The Green
Century Square is continuing its weekly trivia night throughout the spring. This is an outdoors event that may be canceled in the event of inclement weather.

Shrek: The Musical
The Theatre Company of Bryan/College Station is hosting the opening night of the classic family movie-turned musical at 7 p.m. on May 29. The performance walks the audience through the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a talking donkey and a princess, according to TTCBCS.
Teacher Closet Open Donation Day
Nonprofit organization Teacher Closet says shelves are running low after its April open shopping day for teachers. Now, the organization is asking for donors to drop off supplies ahead of the next school year.
2026 TX Girl's State Championships & Recruiting Event
Texas Youth State 7v7 Championships is hosting its first girl's league flag football championship and recruiting event at Veterans Park throughout the weekend of May 29. Fans are invited to watch the matches on May 30.
